    I have been interested in genealogy even as a little girl. I took a class on genealogy research conducted by Rebecca Hill at the Tiffin Seneca Co. Library in 1980. Born in 1957 and raised in Seneca Co., Ohio I have ancestors in Seneca, Crawford, Lorain, VanWert and Wyandot Counties as early as 1832. My husband has ancestors in Franklin and Licking Counties. I have conducted in depth research in those counties Probate court and Land records, and libraries.

   I can do onsite research in Seneca, Crawford, Franklin, and Wyandot Counties. I charge $20 per hour with a five hour minimum plus expenses (such as copy fees and postage). Pre-payment of $100 is required. Please write to me for further information.

    My main interest obviously is in cemetery photography and I can take requests to find the tombstone you seek and take digital photos for a small fee. Price is $5 per cemetery for first photo and 75 cents for each additional. This helps recover the cost of gas and my time. I visit the Seneca/Crawford/Wyandot area about once a month to gather more tombstone photos. Franklin County I can take photos within one week of request.  My husband and I have digital cameras and Payment is NOT expected until after I get the photos taken. I can email the digital photos or upload them to a photo site where you can order and pay for hard copies.

   Also, I live close to the Ohio Historical Society and can take requests for DEATH CERTIFICATES they have on microfilm there. The Ohio Historical Society holds death certificates for the entire state of Ohio from December 20, 1908 through December 31, 1953 You must supply me with the full name, date of death and certificate number for those you want.   • For one to six copies $3.00 each
  • For seven to 20 copies $2.00 each
  • For 21 to 50 copies $1.00 each
  • Must be paid in advance.

If you can not find the certificate number at their site, I can look that up for you at OHS and price for those copies is $5.00.
